Classy creative midfielder who joined the Pitmen on loan from Crewe Alexandra in March 2010

A Crewe Academy player from the age of 12, Clements signed his first professional contract with the club in the summer of 2008, after spending a portion of the 2007-2008 season on loan to near neighbours Nantwich Town in UniBond Division One South

After spending much of the 2008-2009 season in Crewe's highly successful reserve team, Clements was loaned to Blue Square North strugglers Stafford Rangers for a month, with the teenager scoring two goals in a game against Gateshead to help seal Rangers' place in the league for the following season

His loan spell at Marston Road was cut short, however, as he was recalled to Crewe and subsequently sent out on loan to Icelandic side IBV, alongside fellow first year pro Ajay Leight-Smith. In four months, he played fourteen times, scoring three goals

Returned to Crewe at the start of the 2009-2010 season, making his first team bow in an F.A. Cup tie with York City in November 2009. The Railwaymen allowed the youngster to join the Pitmen in February 2010, joining fellow Crewe loanee Cheyenne Dunkley at the club. He enjoyed a fine spell at Keys Park, playing a prominent role in the Pitmen's run to a play off semi final defeat to Chippenham Town

Returned to Crewe at the end of the season, but manager Dario Gradi announced in May that Clements would not be offered a new contract when his current deal expired at the end of the month, opening up a return to Hednesford on a one-year deal in July 2010. He started the season brilliantly, chipping in with a clutch of goals until suspension halted his progress. New manager Rob Smith brought in Southport's Liam Blakeman as his temporary replacement, with Clements having to be content with just a place on the bench when he returned

Once Blakeman returned to Southport in March 2011, Clements came into his own in the final weeks of the campaign, scoring heavily and creating chances for the free-scoring Hednesford strikers. His effort in the play-off final against Salisbury City was the pivotal moment of the game, as his tricky run and shot came agonisingly off the post in the last moments of extra time; had it gone in, Hednesford would have been promoted to Blue Square North

Gave the club and it's supporters a massive boost by agreeing a new deal in May 2011, and after a slow start to the the new campaign, has blossomed into arguably Hednesford's key player this season after scoring in seven successive games
