Very talented attacking midfielder who joined the Pitmen during the 2008-2009 pre-season

Started his career as a junior at Hednesford, but joined AFC Telford, where Durrell worked his way through the ranks at the Bucks. He made his debut in the Setanta Shield clash with Solihull Moors, scoring the winner in extra time with a brilliant strike

To gain extra first team experience, he was loaned out to Southern League Midlands side Rushall Olympic for a short period at the start of 2008, where he made three appearances

Highly rated at Telford, but was allowed to leave to sign UniBond League forms with the Pitmen in order to allow him to develop his talents. After biding his time on the bench, he was eventually given his chance to shine, and after scoring at Cammell Laird, became a fixture in the side. His long-range shots became his trademark of the 2008-2009 season, finishing in the top ten scorers in the league

Agreed a new deal to stay at Keys Park for the 2009-2010 season, and was once again been one of the Pitmen's top performers, especially towards the end of the campaign as Hednesford made the play offs. Swept the board at the end of season awards and was widely expected to follow Tyrone Barnett and Ross Dyer out of the club to a higher level. However, despite being linked with a return to Telford, he returned to Keys Park for the pre season campaign, lining up against Stafford Rangers in the first game. He was stretchered off just half an hour into the game, and only returned briefly in two league games before breaking down again. Despite spirited attempts to regain fitness before the end of the season, Durrell just fell short and missed out on the Pitmen's run to the Southern League play-off final

Elliott agreed a deal to play for the club in the forthcoming 2011-2012 season, playing parts of a number of pre-season games as he continues to increase his fitness levels. As part of his rehabilitation, he was loaned out to Evo-Stik Southern Premier League side Evesham United for a month in August 2011. He returned to the Pitmen's line-up in the 2-1 win over Ashton United in September 2011, and is now back to full fitness as he looks to cement a place in the first team once more
