A skillful, creative midfielder, Osbourne was named amongst the substitutes for the Pitmen's 2-0 defeat to Oxford City in January 2010, and was named amongst he replacements in March when the Pitmen traveled to Leamington

Pre-season 2010 has seen Osbourne more involved with the first team, playing a part in three friendlies, impressing in the Chase Cup 2nd leg against Stafford Rangers

After a number of cameo appearances as a substitute, Osbourne was given a full debut by Bernard McNally in a 3-0 win at Didcot Town, with the youngster scoring a superb goal in a man of the match performance. Injury curbed his progress for a number of games, with new manager Rob Smith allowing Osbourne to join Evo-Stik Division One neighbours Rushall Olympic on a month's loan in February 2011. He returned a month later, but had suffered an injury whilst at Rushall that kept him out of the Pitmen's superb run-in and narrow play-off final defeat to Salisbury City

After agreeing terms for the forthcoming 2011-2012 season, a string of fine performances in pre-season saw Osbourne make his big breakthrough in the first time, enjoying a run in the team in midfield. Goals against Chester and Burscough further cemented his place in the team, although a red card against Corby in the F.A. Cup marked a suspension in October 2011
