Young forward who rejoined the Pitmen on loan from Vanarama National League side Chester in December 2015

A highly rated young striker with an excellent record at youth level, Peers came through the Chester system to sign first team forms with the club in the summer of 2013. He was allowed to join Evo-Stik Premier League side Witton Albion on loan a month later to gain valuable first team experience, but made only two substitute appearances for Albion before returning to the Deva Stadium. Peers was then allowed to join Witton's local rivals 1874 Northwich on a dual registration deal

Peers enjoyed an excellent spell at Northwich, scoring four goals in five starts in his month's loan there before once again returning to Chester. he was offered an extended deal by Neil Young in November 2013, signing up Peers on a deal until he end of the season. Towards the end of Chester's Skrill Premier campaign, he was given a run in the side, making two starts

Joined the Pitmen four games into the new season as manager Rob Smith looked to bring in players to combat his growing injury crisis, making an impressive debut as a substitute in the team's 0-0 draw with Gloucester City. In seven starts over the next few weeks, he grabbed goals against Solihull Moors and AFC Fylde, after having his initial loan period extended by a month

After returning to the Deva Stadium, Peers enjoyed a run in the Chester side for a spell, before being sent out on loan once more in January 2015 to Evo-Stik Premier League strugglers Marine. Peers grabbed two goals in his first three appearances at the Arriva Stadium for the Whites, extending his initial one month loan to potentially a spell there until the end of the season after a prolific run in front of goal. However, he was recalled in March 2015 by Chester manager Steve Burr for Chester's Vanarama National run-in

After signing a new one year deal with Chester in May 2015, Peers again found himself farmed out on loan to an Evo-Stik Premier League side, this time in the form of big-spending Salford City. He scored against Stamford in one of only three appearances for the Reds, before returning to Keys Park on a month's loan in December 2015. Peers returned to the Hednesford scoring charts with the Pitmen's first goal in a 4-2 defeat to Stalybridge a weeks after his return. His loan was extended for a further month in mid-January 2016, only for Chester to recall Peers without warning a few days later. He failed to make Chester's matchday squad against Southport or Braintree Town and was loaned back to the Pitmen a week later
